About us
The Latvian Wood Construction Cluster brings together manufacturers of wooden buildings/structures and providers of wood construction solutions operating in Latvia that can help transform traditional wood into modern, energy-efficient, safe and environmentally friendly buildings.
Latvian Wood Construction Cluster has been operating since 2012 to promote cooperation between companies in the wood construction industry and strengthen the demand for wooden buildings both in Latvia and in export markets. We believe that through the wider use of wood in construction, we can more effectively address climate, economic, social and regional development challenges.
The members of the Latvian Wood Construction Cluster have identified three main directions for promoting wood construction:
- Promoting the local market;
- Developing export markets;
- Addressing financial issues.
