Collaboration with research institutions is crucial for the existence and development of any cluster. Innovation and value-added growth are not possible without science, new technologies and introduction of new processes.

The Latvian Wood Construction Cluster works closely with scientific research organisations to facilitate members’ research and development processes, the creation and testing of new products and solutions, and the improvement of processes and workflows within the Cluster companies.
