SIA CMB is an engineering company with 20 years of experience in delivering multidisciplinary engineering services, from initial construction concepts to completed buildings. As the company expanded its timber construction manufacturing capabilities, the CMB Prefab brand was established in 2026, bringing together design, production and construction expertise in timber building.

CMB Prefab specializes in the development, design and manufacturing of industrially produced timber construction solutions. The offering includes modular buildings, timber frame panel structures and facade renovation and insulation systems. The company provides a full project cycle: from concept and engineering to manufacturing, delivery and on-site installation.

CMB Prefab works with construction companies, developers and public sector clients, delivering projects for residential, public and commercial buildings. Industrial production in a controlled environment ensures high quality, precision and an efficient construction process, as well as predictable timelines and outcomes. The company’s approach is based on sustainability, using timber as a renewable material and developing energy-efficient solutions for modern construction needs.

In 2015, CMB implemented the Quality Management System in accordance with the international standard ISO 9001:2015 “Quality Management Systems” and LVS EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012 standard “Conformity assessment — Requirements for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection” in order to increase the efficiency of the company’s activities and to ensure high quality of services in accordance with the legal regulations, the Quality Management System and customer requirements.
The areas accredited by the Latvian National Accreditation Bureau are: energy audit of enterprises, technological equipment of petrol stations, pressure equipment and its complexes, storage tanks for hazardous substances, cableway equipment for passenger transport, petrol stations with petrol vapour extraction system of stage II.

The quality policy of the organisation is to provide existing and potential customers with high quality services in its field of activity.

The highest level of management is the Management Board which, in accordance with CMB’s Articles of Association, manages and represents the company and determines the duties, authorities and responsibilities of its employees. The Board brings together experienced industry professionals to manage the day-to-day operations of the company. CMB’s Management Board consists of a Chairperson and three Members of the Board.

CMB has been a professional partner in the construction industry for a long time. CMB cooperates with various governmental and non-governmental organisations of the construction industry in Latvia and Europe. CMB is a member of various professional organisations of the industry.

CMB experts participate in working groups for the development of regulations and standards. The Chairperson of the Board of CMB is the Chairperson of the Board of the Latvian Construction Council and a member of the Board of the Latvian Association of Civil Engineers.
